What I love about this guide is that it contains comprehensive Horde and Alliance leveling guides AND how to make 200g+/hour gold guide, plus professions guide, beginners guide, class talent / gear guide, macro guide and more. Also it is regularly updated, which is really important as WoW changes all the time.

Zygor’s in-game leveling guide is a comprehensive guide where a WoW plugin written by an experienced World of Warcraft gamer shows you how to finish the game fast, collect all of the best items and not waste your time.
First of all, please note this is a leveling guide for the Horde side only. One of the great things that I love about this guide is that you also get to watch a video of Joana leveling from 1-80 in less than 5 days. So if there is any part of playing that you are unclear about from reading the guide (and it is well written), you can just go and watch Joana playing and see how it is done. Joana also teaches how to level from 70-80 in the updated version of her guide.
This top-notch Alliance leveling guide was written by the former world record holder for leveling. What is amazing about this guide is that it is an in-game guide. You install it as a plug in (completely legal) and you can reference to the guide while you are playing the game, without ever leaving it!

First of all, here’s a brief rundown of World of Warcraft (also known as WoW):
World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment’s 4th game in it’s Warcraft series, is played by millions of people world wide. It is what is knowns as a Massively Multiplayer On-line Role-playing Game (MMORPG).Released on November 23, 2004, it takes place 4 years after the setting of Warcraft III, and is set in the world of Azeroth.
You’ll find that your reward in the game is money, experience, items and reputation, which in turn all allow you to increase your skill and power.
One of the things that you may have come to this site for is to look for a solid World of Warcraft strategy to level-up your character.
You can level up your character from level 1 to 60 if you’re playing the original World of Warcraft game. If you have Burning Crusade Extension Pack you can level up to 70. For those lucky Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack owners the leveling cap is raised to 80.

Anyway, back to my synopsis of what World of Warcraft is all about…
In the game, there are two main types of characters:
1) Player Characters (controlled by real people)
2) Non-Player Characters (controlled by Blizzard’s gaming software) also known as NPC’s.
There are nine character classes that you can choose from, each class having its own unique set of talents and abilities. You can, depending on the class of charater that you have, choose to build your character’s talent trees for damage-per-second (DPS), tanking, healing or a combination.
The 9 WOW character classes are:
Your character can earn gold, silver and copper to finance your adventures through the lands of Warcraft.
As part of your World of Warcraft strategy, you’ll need to work on different side skills for your character. These skills are called professions and they are divided into two categories:
1) Primary Professions
- Gathering: Mining, Skinning and Herbalism
- Crafting: Blacksmithing, Tailoring, Alchemy, Engineering, Enchanting, Jewelcrafting, and Inscription
2) Secondary Professions
-Cooking
-Fishing
-First Aid.
Note: The Rogue class has two unique secondary professions: Lock Picking and Poisons
